Search Queries
A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates the search. That provider processes the request and supplies its results. Marion County Criminal History does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
When you email us, the message is kept for the purpose of responding. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers receive standard technical information when a page is requested, including:

- Operating system and device category
- Pages viewed and time spent on them
- The referring site, when available
- The date and time of each request

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Marion County Criminal History does not maintain, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal-record information. It provides general directions to records held by Marion County courts and the sheriff, the Arkansas State Police Identification Bureau using Arkansas Crime Information Center data, and the Arkansas Sex Offender Notification System. Arkansas dissemination of conviction information for noncriminal-justice purposes is governed by Ark. Code Ann. § 12-12-1009. This website is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party criminal records.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Information submitted through those tools is governed by the provider's privacy policy, not this policy. Each provider controls its own retention, processing, and disclosure practices. Review those terms before entering a search.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Marion County offices, Arkansas court and agency portals, legal-aid resources, or outside search tools. Once you leave this website, the destination's privacy policy applies. Read it before providing personal information.
Advertising partners may use their own systems to recognize activity across websites and select targeted ads. We do not operate that tracking.
